Since it was founded in 2011 Hay Music has presented over 150 concerts, talks and other related events in venues in and around Hay and online during the pandemic.  Our aim is to offer the very best in classical and contemporary music, featuring both established and up-and-coming musicians, whilst keeping ticket prices as low as possible.  Hay Music Trust was granted charitable status in 2016 (registered charity no. 1168901).

But we need your support.

Without the support of our Friends and Patrons, occasional donors and of our loyal audience, presenting a programme of the highest quality would not be possible. There are several ways you can support us - by becoming a Friend or Patron, by making a donation or a bequest.

Please help by becoming a Friend or Patron.

While costs are kept to a minimum thanks to the many volunteers and supporters who help make the concerts happen, box office sales alone cannot cover our expenses, especially as we are determined to keep the price of concert tickets as low as possible. We therefore invite you to support Hay Music's artistic programme by becoming a Friend or Patron.

We ask for a minimum annual donation from Friends of £25.00 (£40.00 for a couple) or £100.00 (£150 for a couple) from Patrons.

Friends and Patrons will receive the following benefits:

  • Prior notification by email and the opportunity to buy tickets a week before tickets go on general sale

  • An invitation to an annual Hay Music party

  • Wherever possible we will reserve seats for Patrons

  • All supporters will receive regular updates and newsletters

We very much hope you will want to support Hay Music. You will find a link below to an Application Form which includes a Gift Aid declaration which enables you to increase the value of your donation by 25%, and also a Standing Order Form.

If you would like to become a Friend or Patron, please download and return the completed Application Form to

  Mrs Jane Neville,
  Hardwicke Green,
  Hardwicke, Hay-on-Wye,
  Herefordshire,
  HR3 5HA

(with standing order form, if applicable, direct to your bank).

If you have any queries, please contact us.

Please help by making a donation.

The names (only) of donors of £50 or more will be acknowledged on an annual basis in the printed programme for our December concerts, unless you wish to remain anonymous. Please download a donation form which includes a Gift Aid declaration, enabling you to increase the value of your donation by 25%, and return it to

Mrs Jane Neville,

Please help by leaving a legacy in your Will.

If you would like to leave a pecuniary gift to the Hay Music Trust in your Will, we suggest you take or send the following wording to your solicitor and ask for it (or wording to this effect that they advise) to be incorporated into your Will:

“I leave the sum of …………. (in words) pounds sterling £ ………… (in figures) to Hay Music Trust of Cedars, Nantyglasdwr Lane, Cusop, Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, HR3 5QY, Registered Charity Number 1168901.”

If you need more information please contact Mick Peake, Hay Music Trust’s Chair, in confidence, at music@haymusic.org

Thank you for your support.
